The Everybody’s Golf series (Hot Shots Golf in North America) is one of the longest running on PlayStation, with entries (often multiple) on every major home console and handheld dating back to the original PlayStation. The reason for this longevity is that, despite its cartoonish graphics, it’s always been an addictive mix of pure simulation and arcade gameplay. As the series finally makes its way to PlayStation 4, I thought I’d offer my impressions of the single-player element of the game. Which has seen the biggest shake-up in recent years.
